Your best answer is on page four

The site loads slowly, says little, and when somebody asks an assistant about your company the answer is thin or wrong.

What it looks like from the inside

Search still sends most of the visitors, and an assistant now reads the page and answers on the reader's behalf. Both reward the same work: pages that load quickly, structure that says what a thing is, facts marked up so a machine can read them, and writing that answers a question somebody actually typed.

We will not promise a position in a result page or in an AI answer. Nobody can. What we can do is build the site so it is readable by both audiences, write the pages that answer the real questions, and report on what changed.

  • The site is slow on a phone connection, which is where most visits start
  • Nothing on the page answers the questions buyers ask on the first call
  • Assistants describe your business incorrectly or vaguely
  • You cannot say which pages bring enquiries, only how many visits there were

What we do about it

  1. Build it fast and readable

Performance budgets the build fails when it breaks, accessible markup, structured data, sitemaps and clean URLs. This site is a fair sample of the standard.

  2. Write the pages that answer the questions

We plan content around what buyers ask, in the words they use, with the answer near the top rather than after three paragraphs of introduction.

  3. Make the facts quotable

Plain answers, clear headings and machine-readable detail, so an assistant reading the page has something correct to repeat.

  4. Report on what changed

What we shipped, what moved, and what it did. Campaigns, when you want them, point at pages built to receive them.

What you end up with: a site built to be found, the pages that answer the questions, and reporting that names what changed
